"Pros: Location is beautiful, near Pongwe beach which is quiet and not many people. The private beach view is so lovely! Not much around the hotel but we wanted a few days of relaxation which was perfect for this.
The lodge itself was charming and a unique accommodation, we loved the privacy and romance of it.
Good value for money and drinks/food was reasonably priced.
Cons: They should tell you about the $2 per person water fee. I agree to cut down on the plastic but the glass bottles they used weren’t always cleaned and it was a bit impractical sometimes to get refills.
Food was nice but you can tell the hotel is just serving food because they have to, as opposed to because they have a genuine interest in it.
Bedsheets and towels weren’t overly clean.. you could tell they had been washed but old stains remained on them.
The bar area had great potential but was a bit neglected and didn’t have a menu or much choice. There wasn’t always someone there either so if you wanted a drink you had to just wait around and it closed early at like 2030."

"Pros: Staff were friendly and very supportive. The managers were responsive to our requests and needs. Great quite place for a beach holiday away from husle and bustle of heavily populated areas. If you are looking for a beach holiday, the place is higly recommend."
