"Pros: We enjoyed our stay immensely, the silence, peace & quiet, and on top of it all the beautiful beach. Ushongo is not yet full with tourists, which makes it a place where you can really relax and de-stress. All you need is a good book (which I forgot to bring unfortunately). The staff is also very nice and you can eat delicious fresh fish-meals that they can make for you. I would definitely recommend. Cons: Nothing really." ~Marthe

"Pros: Beautiful house and very nice location on the beach on a perfect distance from the small Village of Ushongo. En-suite bathrooms in both of the very beautiful bedrooms. Also very good mosquito nets on the beds. Staff is excellent and are there to help with all our needs or questions but still give you the privacy of your “own” house. Mama Saidis breakfasts beats every other breakfast we have had in Tz. The manager Billy is easy to communicate with on WhatsApp and everything is taken care of. Cons: Nothing is bad but from previous reviews it might be good for future guests to know that this is African budget luxury. If You want 5-star US/Eurioean quality, go somewhere else and pay 10 times more. I don’t think Your experience will be 10 times better though. Also, the water is warm but don’t expect crystalgreen water/beaches like Zanzibar. It’s a very nice beach though and You are pretty much alone. Ar night the sound of the waves on the beach is quite loud but that is what You get if You want a house on the beach 😃" ~Sven
