"Pros: Great hotel on the outskirts with a rural feel. Very peaceful. I believe the views would be amazing when it is the growing season and when everything is in bloom. We came during winter when everything was wet and gray. The studio room and bathroom were huge. The train track runs at the back of the property so you can watch the trains go by during the day and fortunately it stops at night. Everyone has to remove their shoes outside the room which was a good thing. It feels homely. Breakfast was typical Chinese congee with a variety of side dishes. Cons: It is quite rural so you'll need to drive out for food or for the convenience store. We had to message the property to request payment with cash because they do not accept credit cards which they accommodated. The hot water comes only for a short while so don't stay in the shower too long. In winter time, this is not convenient. The rooms are not sound proof so it can be noisy at night when other guests return and are talking in their rooms." ~Graeme
