"Pros: I stayed at this hotel again, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean as always, the staff were polite, and the breakfast was quite good.
Cons: However, I noticed a few inconsistencies compared to my previous visit:
Despite booking the same room type, the space felt slightly smaller this time, and the view wasn’t as nice. It wasn’t a major issue, but the variation was noticeable.
The biggest surprise was that the hotel no longer accepts credit cards for payment (only cash or domestic bank transfers). I booked two nights with three rooms via Booking.com, but this policy change wasn’t mentioned anywhere—neither on the booking platform nor hotel website . The front desk staff kindly directed me to a nearby ATM, but it was inconvenient, especially since I clearly remember paying by card last year. Interestingly, they allowed credit card payment for two of my rooms since I was a returning guest, which I appreciated.
Another oddity was that one of my double rooms (for two guests) had only one key card, while another double room had two. When I asked, the explanation was: “Two-bed rooms get two keys, while one-bed rooms only get one.” This seemed arbitrary and different from last year’s policy—apparently, another recent change.
The stay was comfortable, but the unannounced policy adjustments (payment and key cards) caused unnecessary hassle. Better communication from the hotel—whether via booking platforms or email—would greatly improve the guest experience." ~Brenda
