"Pros: Beautiful location in a small town in the mountains. We took a taxi from Taichung station (about $50 usd, 1.5 hours). Very helpful staff. Great hiking nearby and easily reachable by bus. Maps available at the tourist info station just up the road. Wonderful outside tubs to soak in when we returned. Good breakfast. All rooms on our floor were alike. Small rooms. The bed is small, short and extremely uncomfortable for two people. They need new/better mattresses and there are no bedside lamps or reading lights. With those changes it would be an even better place to stay." ~Kathy
