"Pros: Thanks to Mother Nature, Anja and Robert 'Pod tulipanem' is a place of tranquility and peace. Cats, dogs and sheep - I don't even try to write down their lovely and funny Polish names - contribute all the liveliness this rest seeker was thankful for. What a place. If you listen carefully, you here the walls talking. About life in Masuria. How it went a hundred years ago an how it goes now. If you like the simple warmth of a wood-burning stove, taking all the time you want for cooking and, in my case, preparing your overnight oats, stay here as long as you can. If you love hikes through meadows and forests watching deer, if you appreciate an unexpected tête-a-tête with a passing boar but hardly ever meeting another human being, nock on Pod Tulipanem's door. If you don't mind grey skies and earth colours around you, come by at winter time. Anja and Robert are the most wonderful hosts, each in her/his own way. They are very attentive and caring. If you need something they are there, friendly and supportive. In the meantime they go about their own business. Which deepened my sense of belonging. I have found a place I will come back to. Thank you, Anja and Robert for your hospitality. Cons: If you love binge-watching Netflix, are a fanatic gamer or otherwise depending on an A+++ Internet connection, think twice before staying here. The connection is not always stable. But hey, why be in the middle of nature when you don't want to enjoy its wonders? Anyway, at home always online it didn't bother me a bit that I couldn't connect to the rest of the world any moment. On the contrary... ." ~Vera

Wiejska Chata is located in a quiet and green area right by the Lake Szwałk Mały. It offers accommodation in a house surrounded by a spacious garden, 20 km from the city of Olecko. The accommodation will provide you with a TV and a seating area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a refrigerator. Featuring a shower, the bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. You can enjoy a garden view from all the rooms. At Wiejska Chata you will also find a children's playground. The property offers free parking. It is 30 km from the town of Gołdap, with its ski slope and a border crossing with the Kaliningrad Oblast.

Please inform Wiejska Chata in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. If you expect to arrive outside of reception opening hours you are kindly requested to inform the property in advance. From 01 October to 30 April guests can only heat the house with a fireplace and tiled heaters. Firewood is provided free of charge. Managed by a private host
