"Pros: Warm welcome at the reception, my room was clean. Was nice for a first time stay to get a hand written welcome note and a Toblerone Chocolate bar plus a bottle of water. Cons: My room was super super COLD!!! I was frozen, Which made my stay very uncomfortable. I didn’t understand why the Hotel corridors were warmer than the room. I mean a room temperature like you have it at home is understandable no one expects the rooms to be overly warm , mind you it’s not yet summer. I had to go down to the reception and let them know if they could adjust my temperature in the room because it was freezing. Funny, I met a guy at the reception who went down for the same complaint and I thought glad it’s not just me. They gave us both heaters to take to our rooms. Heated my room and in 30min I had a normal room temperature and turned the heater off and then again in the morning when I woke up. I fail to understand why Hotels nowadays are ventilating the rooms so cold it’s very uncomfortable. My boyfriend often got sick after search a stay. Because it’s just not cosy in the rooms and the prices are less for this. Please Mercure adjust your temperatures in the rooms to cosy. Nice and clean Hotel but for this am doubting I’ll be back." ~Marion
