"Pros: Pros: had a view of Matterhorn from apartment Cons: Cons: it cost 36€ to get from train station to the apartment, the key to the apartment is not in a lock box at the door like everywhere else…it is in a lockbox at the main office which is a 15 minute walk away, it is 82 stairs up the mountain so having multiple luggage is extremely difficult, if you arrive at night you won’t see the building as it is behind other chalets and not labeled from the direction of the walking path, the entire apartment has never been renovated so EVERYTHING to include furniture, appliances etc are from when it was built in the 1960s, the living room only has chairs so cuddling on the sofa to a movie is not possible, the ski room is directly next to this apartment so it’s very loud with people getting gear early every morning, at night the heater/pipes expand causing a lot of creaky sounds disrupting sleep." ~Kimberly
