"Pros: The apartment is large enough . It has pretty views. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals. The pitcher does not fit in the fridge to keep cold water, and there are only 2 tiny ice cube trays and no auto ice maker. The sauna was great! The town is lovely and the hiking is great and varied. The train is timely and dependable. The coop has a good selection of food and supplies but is very expensive as it is the only game in town . Cons: First off, be sure to plan on paying for a taxi to get you there on arrival. Its a way to walk and there are few street signs so it might be impossible to find. The place is very creaky. there are 3 staircases and they make noise. No rugs so if more than one person speaks , its loud. There are no fans , no A/c, no window shades. It was vert hot and bright. Several rooms have street lights that shine in the bedroom all night. There are no screens so if you leave the windows open, the flies and mosquitoes are a plenty. The cows roam the hills all night , lovely but very noisy , even if the windows are closed. This is not a place for light sleepers. Ear plugs should be provided. No paper towels, linen napkins, shampoo, lotion, washing machine soap are provided. there is not a broom, mop, or a vacuum.There was no linen for the futon and the upper bunk . They didn't want to even bring any . They insisted we make up the upper bunk bed. There are few bath and kitchen towels especially for a 5 day stay. The pillows are really , really small, only one each.I called and spoke to Agnes and she was not pleasant and basically hung up on me. There were only 1 set of keys ,which we had to leave under the mat because we weren't together all the time, leaving the house unlocked. Be reminded, no television." ~Cramer

"Pros: You will find everything you need in this apartment. I celebrated my bday here and instead of eating outside we decided to cook since everything is available in the kitchen. The surrounding is very quiet and the team is very active in responding to your queries. Good WiFi connection. Rooms are very spacious and each room has its own bathroom and bed is amazing very comfy. When it comes to cleanliness this is SUPERB! Cons: It requires 20-30 minutes walk from Wengen train station to the apartment. If you have some heavy luggages it might be a challenge. Not really an issue for us because it is worth the walk once you reach the place." ~Woody
