This youth hostel is just a 15-minute walk from St. Gallen’s Old Town and 100 metres from the Birnbäumen Train Station. It enjoys a green hillside location overlooking the city. The Youth Hostel St. Gallen features a children’s playroom, a library, and an internet corner. Guests can play table tennis on site and use the free Wi-Fi in public areas. Limited chargeable parking is available on site. Lake Constance is a 15-minute drive away.

You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Please note that only a very limited number of parking spaces is available. Use of public transport is recommended. Please note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property or bring their own. For bookings of more than 10 people, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Please note that a check-in after 21:00 is only possible on prior request.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 2 years old to 5 years old stay for CHF 15 per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 6 years old to 12 years old stay for CHF 25 per person per night when using an existing bed. You haven't added any extra beds. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
