"Pros: Hotel location is quite convenient, walking distance into town or local train station within a few hundred metres. Hotel is well looked after, very clean. Check-in process was by far the best self check-in I have done (most previous experiences in other places always involve some complication, this was was immediate and simple). Staff were also very friendly when I saw them the next day.
Cons: Like with all hotels in the area, there is no air-conditioning. So if you happen to stay there on some very hot days, and you want to leave the window open, and your room is on the street side, then yes there can be a little noise (especially from train going past). However, I managed this fine with ear plugs and still had a good sleep."

"Pros: This is a beautiful spot for the money. Easy going. I find it a gem in Solothurn--you don't feel an uptight feeling. It's more welcoming. Super clean. I didn't have the breakfast because I had to leave too early in the morning. But I have heard it's excellent. I was offered tea anyway. That was kind!
Cons: All hotels should have proper blackout curtains that block 95 percent of the light at least. Some of us need this. So if a hotel doesn't have this, I always comment. Otherwise it's a real gem of a place."
