"Pros: The location was excellent! and the unit was very comfortable in the heart of Montreux across from the Jazz Festival. Fairly close to the train station and there was an escalator from the lower city street to access the train station, eliminating the need to carry luggage upstairs. All in all, a lovely unit and location. We would request to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Montreux.
Cons: While we choose to arrive a day later for our check in process so that we could stay an extra day in Zermatt, picking up the keys at a lockbox 10min walk away was an inconvenience. I understand however that it was our decision to not arrive on our initial check in date. Still, since we had already paid in full and didn't want to make a change/get any refund back from our original reservation dates, it would have seemed reasonable to have someone meet us at the unit with the keys. We simply had chosen to not use the first day we paid for, but arrive the next day, cutting our time there short by a day. The host was accommodating in allowing us to arrive the next day and pick up the keys at a lockbox and it really was not that big of a deal, just a bit surprising."
