Situated in a castle dating back to around 1200, Youth Hostel Mariastein-Rotberg offers accommodation in a unique setting. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and you can play table tennis on site. Each dormitory room comes with shared bathroom facilities, located on the corridor. You can enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast each day. Dinner and packed lunches are available and on request. The Mariastein Abbey is 1.7 km away and Basel is 15 km from the hostel. A bus stops can be found just next to the castle. Basel Airport is reachable within 90 minutes by public transport.

Children from 6 years old to 12 years old stay for CHF 25 per person per night when using an existing bed. You haven't added any extra beds. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
