"Pros: The best feature of the property is the location! It is centrally located to most things you would want to do in Lugano. It is a short walk from the train station, which is a lot easier when going to the apartment since that is all downhill. To get to the train station, one can easily take the funnicular which runs every 5 minutes. This is definitely very helpful when going to and from the station with luggage. We were in apartment 3 which had a very modern feel to it.
Cons: A few things that could have been better:
1. Instructions to use the funnicular to get to the apartment would have been appreciated. This is something we discovered after lugging our bags to the apartment.
2. There was some smell from the bathroom which seemed to be due to a missing siphon (as noted by other reviews). It was not too bothersome and we got around it by running the exhaust all the time
3. The apartment was on the 3rd floor in a building without an elevator. Wasn't a big concern for our group but something that should be noted.
4. The air conditioning in the apartment made a fairly loud draining noise every couple of minutes which I reported to the host and expect that the host will get it fixed very soon."
