"Pros: The Pension Bienvenue is very close to Lausanne Station, and so highly convenient. Mme Moret was warm, welcoming and extremely kind. There was clear information given about the Pension and surrounding facilities. My room was spacious and clean, with a long balcony. The shared facilities were good, including the showers and loo. I was given a free travel pass for the Lausanne area - an excellent touch. Cons: It was rather a surprise to find that my room was on the third floor. I had quite a heavy case, and hadn't realised there would be no lift. However, I was very grateful for the help I received. There was considerable noise from the railway, but with the windows closed I slept (to my surprise!) very well." ~Pamela
