"Pros: The hotel was outside the main town of Sierre/Siders, in the suburb Chippis, just south of the Rhone. It occupies two older buildings, combined with a modern structure that joins them. It is completely renovated and features Art Nouveau decor and large mirrors on walls and ceilings, which make the interiors seem much bigger than they are. Our room was on the ground floor and was very quiet. It was comfortably large, with a modern bathroom. The staff were very friendly and took time to inform us. The breakfast buffet was good and was served in a large, pleasantly decorated dining room which is an Italian restaurant on most evenings.
Cons: We had no complaints in this hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the main town (but not with luggage), and close to several bus stops where the Post Buses to various places in the mountains above the Rhone valley can be boarded."
