"Pros: Friendly host, well equipped small house, great views and charming mountain-side village location excellent for accessing walks and, in hot weather, with fresher air than in the town below. Good restaurants and bakery walking distance. 10 min bus ride to Locarno station. 30 min walk down to swimming beach at Minusio.
Cons: No complaints but things to consider: like everywhere on the lake, you need anti mosquito stuff (
Nets would be really useful!). The house is accessed by steep steps and has many steps inside too. No parking directly near house. Church bells ring loudly at 7 am each day. No food shops in walking distance (except for bakery)."
