Accomodation

The Basel Backpack is housed in a renovated historic factory, only 10 minutes from Basel’s main train station. The Basel Mobility Ticket (free public transport) is included in the rates. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The Basel Backpack offers pleasant accommodation in an urban loft style in the Gundeldinger Feld neighbourhood. Shared showers and toilets are located next to the rooms. The wheelchair-accessible Basel Backpack also features a kiosk and a washing machine with a dryer. The Bar-Café PriMateria serves snacks and refreshments from breakfast to a late cocktail. There is also a kitchen, where you can cook yourself, and vending machines for drinks and snacks. The next tram stop is just 100 metres away from the Basel Backpack.

Guests receive a BaselCard upon check in. This Guest Card includes complementary use of Public Transport within Basel City and surroundings (Zone 10, 11, 13, 14 & 15, including Euroairport), free WiFi, as well as discounts on admission to cultural and leisure activities. Please note that the public transfer (2nd class) from EuroAirport or Basel main train stations to the hotel on the day of your arrival is free of charge with your booking confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Children from 3 years old to 12 years old stay for CHF 20 per person per night when using an available extra bed. People 13 years old and over stay for CHF 30 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
