"Pros: The check-in/out process goes through the company's office in a location closer to the central urban area of the town.
It is not intuitive, but the process is simple and straight through, with staff that is friendly and helpful.
The location of the apartment is fantastic, literally one block away from the promenade and soo close to the beach. The neighborhood is just fantastic, with many incredible beautiful old buildings and, although the property is located in a new building, that does not detract from the general ambiance of the streets.
Visiting during early November means that some of the commerce was closed, but there were enough shops, markets and restaurants for whatever we needed. Anyway, since we visited more to relax and get to know the island (both Polish and German sides), that was not an inconvenience.
The apartment itself was almost perfect. The spaces are good, the balcony great even with the cold November weather outside, and it is fully equipped with everything you might need.
Cons: The only thing of relevance that I can note here is that the heating system operation was not necessarily easy to operate. In many places, you just turn the knob in the heating units to make it work, but this has a centralized unit that controls the system. The little unit was not intuitive and it took a while to understand what we had to do and that we needed to set a timer for the system to be on. I can see how this might be complicated for some people.
On the same topic, we had a beautiful morning with plenty of sunshine hitting the south facing wall (where the balcony is located in unit 38) and I could imagine how, if the wall insulation is not appropriate, the apartment would become a small oven during the warm summer months. Then again,, this I cannot obviously confirm or deny, but maybe check other reviews to see if there's any mention of the such." ~Ricardo
