Picturesquely located along the Göta River, 40 km from Gothenburg, this elegant castle from 1892 is set in Västerlanda. It offers free WiFi, outdoor hot tubs and a restaurant with a private wine cellar. Set in different buildings, Thorskogs Slott rooms are all individually decorated with tasteful décor and furnishings. Each has its own bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and bathrobes. In the surrounding park, guests can access the pitch-and-putt golf course and lawn bowling games. Additional leisure options at Thorskogs Slott include billiards, darts and a bar in the cellar lounge area. Area activities include swimming in nearby lakes and hiking in the Svartedalen Nature Reserve. Uddevalla and Trollhättan are both within 45 minutes’ drive.
