"Pros: We had a beautiful 10 day stay at the lodge. The lodge is located at the end of a small, rocky forest road. It is well-equipped with very new and perfectly clean rooms, and it has a nice, large terrace with a beautiful view over a clearing in the beautiful landscape. You can even do a barbecue on the terrace. The hosts are living next door so you get an absolutely quiet vacation in the nature without being completely isolated in the Swedish woods. The place is ideal for activities such as hiking in the beautiful nature reserve nearby, discovering the lovely skerries (about 45-60 minutes drive) or doing some sightseeing in the charming city of Gothenburg. We would strongly recommend a car for a stay at the lodge. Special thanks to host Eric who is very kind and helpful, showed us the lovely rabbit tending farm on the property, and gave us a lot of useful recommendations what to do in the region." ~Simon

"Pros: Amazing cozy and quiet house in the forest near the lake. Not too far from Gothenburg, but far enough to feel isolated from city noises and troubles. Mobile signal is very bad and no WiFi, so you can have perfect uninterrupted vacation with digital detox. Private parking near house. Fireplace, boat, a lot of mushrooms in the forest and fish in the lake. Inside the house you will find all you need. Beds (also bunk bed) are comfortable and linens are soft." ~Elina
