"Pros: Wonderful surroundings. Moose, wild boar, badgers and foxes walk around the garden at night and snack on the fruit trees of the old orchard that lies behind the house. It is completely quiet and isolated from the nearby villages and offers an amazing sense of solitude and relaxation. Very rarely does a car drive by on the dirt road and the garden is a great place for kids to play and to relax. Nearby, about 3 minutes by car or 20 minutes walking there's a stunning woodland lake where you can access the water by a dock for a refreshing dive. Cons: The pipes are old so the hot water comes out quite discoloured, likely due to iron build-up. It also does not taste very well, so we ended up buying bottled water. The house is a bit old and dusty, but still offers everything you need for a simple retreat. Don't expect luxury but the location is definitely worth it." ~Niek
