Accomodation

This modern, waterfront hostel is located on the island of Ängö, 1.5 km from Kalmar Central Station. It offers a guest kitchen, TV lounge and sauna. Private parking and Wi-Fi access are free. Wooden floors and work desks are standard in Vandrarhem Svanen’s bright rooms. All have shared showers in the hall. Some rooms feature a small, private toilet. Microwaves, fridges and an electric cooker are found in the kitchen. Guests can use the tea/coffee facilities or fix their own meals there. A laundry room and ironing equipment can also be accessed. Svanen Vandrarhem Hostel’s dining room overlooks the lake and hosts a popular breakfast buffet each morning. Staff can arrange canoe rentals on request.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Vandrarhem Svanen in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Vandrarhem Svanen requires that the credit card holder’s name matches the guest’s name on the booking confirmation. Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and charges may be applicable.
Pets are not allowed.
Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for SEK 140 per person per stay when using an available cot. Children up to and including 4 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. People no matter the age stay for SEK 170 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
