"Pros: Location. Across the street from the south ski lift. Well-appointed kitchen, all the pots, pans, ceramic ware you would need for a large group. Cons: I have been renting dozens of vacation over the past 15 years. It is standard practice to provide basics such as garbage bags and tea light candles. Also, if the house has a fire place advertised, provide wood for your guests! Other vacation rentals in the area do! Guests are paying a lot of money to use the facilities. When I asked the host about garbage bags and candles, I was “tipped” by the host where to go and buy these myself. There were signs around the house to “replace” things when empty. I think this is poor service to expect guests to spend money on rental, spend time on their vacation to buy things for the house owners/managers. We have stayed in 5 other rentals in the area, this is not the case at the other places. Provide basics for guests. The lighting in the kitchen and dining area is terrible. We ate dinner nearly literally in the dark. Would have been tolerable, had they provided some candles. 😅 No drying cabinet, but was ok with the shelving and rack provided." ~Christine

"Pros: Great place. I stayed with my daughter for a skiing trip. It's next to the ski-lift, so it is perfect just to walk a few metres across in the morning. And at the end of the day when you are tired, you are already home! The room was nice, and when we wanted more space we sat on the sofas in the lounge area next to the bar. The shower was good, the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived by train, so we walked up from the station with no problem at all. There is an ICA supermarket on the main road too. Cons: If you are being really fussy, then a larger selection of meals in the restaurant would be nice since we were inclined to eat there for lunch and dinner every day for the week. We sometimes skied down to have lunch at the restaurant on the other side of the mountain to shake it up a bit. And we sometimes walked back down to have dinner in one of the pizza places." ~Kim
