"Pros: Wonderfully friendly nuns. The house is totally barrier-free (step-free), including the shower Even though it's only two stories, there is a lift to the top floor. Some have called the rooms simple but in fact nothing at all is lacking, by hotel standards, except maybe shampoo. Exceptionally clean too, daily housekeeping. Pleasant, old-fashioned library where you could sit on a rainy day.
Parking in front of the house. Too far from town to walk but there is a lovely garden and a bathing place, right on the lake shore. The water was a bit cold when I was there at the end of June...
Cons: The breakfast could offer a bit more choice, considering that this is Sweden. Given the simple breakfast, I wouldn't call the place particularly cheap. But, broadly speaking, you do get value for money." ~Gp
"Pros: The location of the facility is gorgeous. So beautiful next to the lake. We had such a great time swimming, hiking and supping on the lake. The only con was the dirty and somewhat outdated stuga/cottage (no 3).
View on the lake was amazing from the terrace.
Cons: Cleaning of the cottage was horrible. Dustbin contained dirt from previous visitors. It was not cleaned at all, so we did it ourselves after arrival. Strange smells in various cabinets. Shower very dirty and partly broken, same for some kitchen cabinets.
I wish the owners did better maintainance and cleaning. I fixed a leaking watertap." ~Justanotherhugo
