"Pros: Beautifully presented, cosey and traditional yet with a modern twist, perfect place to stay after a long day out in the cold.
Cons: Rooms were very hot and the location of the hotel is on a hill, if it’s an icy cold day it can very hard to walk down into town with all the ice and compacted snow, not easy for even fit and agile people but they do offer a shuttle and taxis otherwise as 15 min walk into the village. Not cheap either but I found it better value than The Radisson."

Martin’s apartment is super!
Spacious and very comfortable. The location is amazing. Just a couple of minutes from the airport bus drop off and the big supermarket/ bars/ restaurants etc in Longyearbyen…you are basically right in the centre of the small city.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare lovely meals. Oven, stove top, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, sandwich maker etc plus all utensils/ pots and pans. The fridge is very big so you can easily store all your food/ drinks.
The apartment has a huge tv in the lounger with netflix for you to enjoy.
There is double bed in the bedroom and sofa bed in the lounge…both very comfortable.
The bathroom is amazing. Super shower with great pressure and temperature.
The entire apartment was immaculate. Mega clean and well layed out. All towels, bedding etc were top.
Communication with Martin was effortless and very friendly/ helpful.
I highly recommend staying in the wonderful apartment and visiting magical Svalbard.
