We also had a few days Kandy/Ella/Sigiriya tour and safary with Hashan and it was really a great and unfogettable experience. He knows a lot about his country, has a perfect sense of humour, also he is a very helpful and kind person. Highly recommend the hotel to stay, also Hashan as a perfect guide!" ~Rasa

"Pros: We had the most amazing dinner here. The hosts cooked a vegetarian meal for us on arrival. The price was so affordable and we have decided it was the best dinner we had in Sri Lanka. The host arranged a second jeep to accompany his jeep to take us on a half day safari. The price was fantastic and he waiting to avoid big crowds, took us to see many birds, crocodiles and elephants with only our jeeps at the sites. He even packed a lovely breakfast with tea which we ate at the waterside. He took us in the evening to see the baby elephants at the orphanage as well. We highly recommend this home! "Pros: A fantastic experience, which went beyond the start and finish. Leel and his family are the most wonderful people and put lots of love and care into hosting. They go well above and beyond for their guests - I had left one of my personal belongings at the room and Leel arranged to get it to me in Mirissa that same day, without even asking The food here is delicious - definitely try dinner, you'll experience a wide variety of foods beyond the just the standard cuisine I went for the half day safari in the morning, and Leel's experience in being a safari tour guide clearly showed - he doesn't take the standard 'loop' as he knows the best hidden spots. What stands out the most is the extraordinary kindness of the family, who took great care of us throughout our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. They organized a driver for us to visit the Ulla Walawe National Park at a very fair price, and the driver was also very friendly and helpful. The national parks are in direct proximity, which makes the location of the apartment even more appealing. Additionally, the hostess mentioned that she plans to offer cooking classes in the future – such a great idea! We highly recommend this apartment and the warm hospitality.
