"Pros: The location is good only a 10 minutes walk away from Udawalawe junction where busses pass into several directions. The whole property is well maintained, the staff is super friendly, the pool is clean as well as the room. Regarding the latter, it is worth mentioning that we had coffee and tea bags, a kettle, and a fan as well. Even though we were offered a safari tour, it was absolutely okay that we had booked one on our own (that's not the usual case in Udawalawa as some accommodations only give rooms to customers also booking a safari; happened to us twice before). The breakfast is buffet and the best we have had so far in Sri Lanka with a variety of dishes from local to continental. Cons: The interior is already a little bit old. However, it's clean and okay. Be aware that you are close to nature and therefore shouldn't have food in your room. I our case, mice or something similar ate some of our snacks for the next day, even though all doors and windows were closed." ~Cybey
