"Pros: We absolutely LOVED our stay at Silent River Cottage. It was so peaceful and the room exceeded our expectations - it was beautiful. The grounds are really well kept and very tidy. Lots of hammocks everywhere to relax. You can have direct access down to the river which is secluded and you can see the monkeys playing in the trees. The family who run the cottage are kind, caring and amazing people. We really enjoyed getting to know them and they always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. One evening we learnt how to play carrom with all the family and it was very fun! They work so hard and deserve every success in their business. It feels like a home away from home ☺️🙏 They also offer a fantastic safari which they can arrange for you. Not to mention the FOOD! WOW Nadika is a very very good cook. Her food was amazing. I highly recommend eating at the onsite restaurant as it was the most delicious food we had in Sri Lanka. Thank you for hosting us . We will definitely be back 😊" ~Megan
