"Pros: Uppal and his family run a lovely small, secluded accommodation that feels very much like a home stay. The rooms were clean and quiet, surrounded by the sounds of nature. An amazing dinner and breakfast were prepared by his lovely wife and Uppal took us on a 5 hour safari to Udawalawe National Park where we saw many elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, deer, mongoose and countless birds and eagles - a great experience. Delighted to hear Uppal’s place has made it into the Lonely Planet….much deserved We would highly recommend a stay here" ~Simon
