"Pros: We had such an amazing time at Villa de Lagoon. We wanted a remote place, away from the hustle and bustle, and we really found peace here. Waking up to the sounds of the garden, enjoying kayak trips to the sea, and silent evenings on the terrace were highlights of our stay. Asanka rented us a scooter, and we traveled a lot. I highly recommend using a sort of transportation, either a car, tuk-tuk or scooter. We made it to Kalametiya Lagoon to join a bird-watching boat tour to the east and Dickwella Beach to the west to swim and sunbathe. You can have breakfast and dinner at the nearby Shell Point family restaurant, and for the best coffee, head to Pumpkin Coffee. For transport to the airport or other places, ask Danushka. "Pros: I highly recommend staying at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa. I spent four nights here and its been such a wonderful stay. Sandhu and his family are really beautiful people and they will make your stay amazing. They are kind and considerate. I had many talks with Sandhu and he is an incredible young man. The villa itself is very beautiful and surrounded by psalm trees. I enjoyed sitting out on the verandah every day watching some cute little monkeys in the trees and also watching colourful peacocks walk by. The bed in the villa was so comfortable and the shower was really good. The wi-fi worked very fast as well. The room was very clean and private. The surrounding area is very tranquil which I loved. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and I ate breakfast and dinner there every day. I walked to a very serene beach every day. It's very close by. Thankyou so much Sandhu for all of your help. This has truly been my best stay in Sri Lanka and I have enjoyed every moment. My stay has been so wonderful." ~Paul
