"Pros: Highly recommended.
We stayed in the Villas which are airconditioned and well maintained. All the villas are a few steps to the pool and a few more steps to the ocean. We could hear the ocean from our room. We had a group of 11 family members across 4 rooms and it was a pleasure to stay in this quiet palm tree location (with a few monkeys) leading to a quant beachfront. The rooms were clean, plenty of clean sheets and towels and excellent value. The restaurant pricing was reasonable for a hotel and the neighbouring cafes and bars are good quality.
We stayed in Sri Lanka for a total of 10 days in July and it was sunshine every day with hardly any rain. Don't believe the iphone weather app or the blogs. July is great. The sea at this time of year is not suitable for young kids but the hotel pool was an excellent substitution.
We used this hotel as a base to go to Yalla, the turtle sanctuary (highly recommended) and exploring villages on Tuk Tuks. The team at the hotel were super responsive on WhatsApp, arranging everything - including our airport transfers."
