"Pros: Our best accomodation in Sri Lanka! Worth the price. We had a big apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms (4 people). Everything was nice and clean, always warm water in the shower. Pool is awesome and is like 5 steps away from the sea! Probably the only stay where we did not have to worry about cleanliness or bugs as it was very clean and very bug proof haha. We loved it. Comfortable and the staff helped with everything. Would come again and we wanted to stay even longer. Cons: Only thing that bothered us was that they cancelled the genius program but only told us after we booked it with genius free breakfast, so we did not have one. The food in the restaurant is also not very good, not worth the price. But there are some places around that you can try so it is not a big issue :)" ~Filip

"Pros: I have visited Sri Lanka now for 5 times and this appartment definitely belongs to the 5 best places I have been to. It is large with a comfortable and beautiful welcoming interior. The kitchen has a lot of equipment which fulfills every wish to cook inside. Not a single thing missing and expectations were exceeded. From the living room you have a beautiful sea view and can hear the views. The building is very quiet. Beach towels and sunbeds are provided. A big plus was the fast, easy and very friendly and helpful conversation with the owner. All staff members were also very friendly and helpful. Definitely a beautiful, clean and spacious place for your stay in Nilaveli (Trincomalee). Loved it." ~Nicole

"Pros: Everything! Having stayed in 5 other places over 2 weeks we were looking forward to staying put for 5 final days of the holiday. Walking into the penthouse- if I’m honest, made me tear up. It was so beautiful. The views across the beach and the ocean, the spaciousness, the attention to detail. It’s an incredible place to stay. The staff were very helpful on checking in/out and the owner always available. The cows walking up the beach made my day too! Not something you see everyday 😂 Cons: Minor things. The card to get into the apartment is a knack which it seemed only I could get which meant that everyone else struggled to get in. But I think they know about this and it’s being sorted. We went very early in the season (April and there’s not much happening) the bars are open but there’s no customers so not much vibe for my younger daughters. but that’s not anything to do with the penthouse- just be aware that it’s more peaceful at this time (I like!) Shame that the complex sun lounger cushions are left out as they got soaked in the frequent over night storms and so the sponge filling was always wet. (As I say Minor issues) It’s a totally awesome place to stay and I’d go back in a heartbeat" ~Charlie

Situated on the Northeast coast of Sri Lanka, Oceanfront Condominiums Nilaveli is the very first luxury beachfront serviced apartment development consisting of two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, each with magnificent views of the Indian ocean. It has a fitness centre. Each apartment has a spacious and private living room with a 6-person dining table. Shop at the nearby grocery store and prepare a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen which includes a cooker, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, refrigerator and filtered water dispenser. Breeze cafe serves an la carte menu including the fresh catch of the day or a selection on buffet during peak tourist seasons. Grab a wood fired pizza during happy hour between 3-5 pm. Oceanfront Condominiums - Nilaveli can arrange tours to Pigeon island by boat and other offshore activities such as scuba diving, whale watching and snorkeling.
