"Pros: This is my go to spot for rest and relaxation half way between the Southern Coast and Arugam Bay. It’s a beautiful large property right in the village of Thanamalwila, which opens up into a peaceful meadow and rice fields with peacocks and dozens of bird species. The owner Weerasinghe Prasad and his family are Great hosts and always look after my every need with that world famous Sri Lankan hospitality. I have stayed a number of times at Thanamal-Villa and always enjoyed my time there. They offer professionally guided safaris into Lunugamvehera National Park, local village tours, and outings to the nearby river. Highly recommended! Cons: Leaving" ~Shawn
