"Pros: Mount'n mist is the perfect place to truly experience the heart of Sri Lanka – its people, warmth, food, hospitality, and nature. The lovely couple who run the homestay are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always with a warm smile and genuine kindness.
The food was a real highlight – both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with plenty of variety and authentic Sri Lankan flavours.
Our host also took us around Ella in his tuk-tuk, showing us amazing spots like the Nine Arches Bridge and the tea plantations. He was always cheerful, super helpful, and really knowledgeable about the area.
The house itself is cosy, clean, and has everything you need. It's nestled up in the mountains, surrounded by mango and avocado trees – a truly peaceful setting where you fall asleep to the sounds of nature.
It’s a really special place, and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
