"Pros: I absolutely loved my stay at Yakaduru. From the moment I booked, the communication was excellent. They shared a range of activity options ahead of my arrival, which really helped me plan my stay. When I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. I was welcomed with a delicious Sri Lankan buffet lunch, and stayed in the villa with a private pool which was absolutely breathtaking. That afternoon, they organised a nature walk for me. My guide was knowledgeable and kind, and the walk ended at a scenic rock just in time to watch the sunset, such a beautiful and unexpected experience that I’ll always remember. Dinner was another standout, a second Sri Lankan buffet (just as delicious as lunch), followed by a cultural performance that added a special touch to the evening. The turn-down service at night was next level. Staff prepared the mosquito net, naturally smoked out any bugs, and made sure I was completely comfortable. I had a few frog visitors in my room at night, and the team were kind and quick to help escort them out! I opted for the morning safari the next day (highly recommend) and returned to yet another delicious meal. Staff also assisted in organising transport to Ella. I feel very lucky to have stayed here.
