"Pros: Neem Tree House was our first stop in Sri Lanka as we wanted to go on Yala safari and it's only located 20 minutes by car and the host can arrange a trip for you. This place is absolutely gorgeous, purely surrounded by nature: birds, peacocks, monkeys, lizards and not to mention crocodiles as it's located near a lake. As you are in the middle of all that nature, be prepared for the different type of bugs crawling but for us it wasn't an issue as you do expect that in tropical countries. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the swimming pool is absolutely the perfect temperature! And most importantly the host Anusha with her beautiful family made our trip even more pleasant and unforgettable. You couldn't find a more welcome, kind and ALWAYS happy person. She couldn't do enough for you! She even made me a special herbal tea to sort my cough ( been unwell with it for some time ) which did work! We also had breakfast and dinner cooked by Anusha during our stay which was delicious and great value for money! I couldn't recommend this place enough.
