In the evening, we were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan dinner prepared by Vijitha, who not only cooked with great skill but also with so much heart. Every dish was bursting with flavor — a real taste of Sri Lanka — and there was so much food we could hardly finish it! What made it even more special was Vijitha himself, who took the time to talk with us, sharing wonderful stories and helpful information about the Kandy area, making us feel like we were not just guests, but friends. The next morning, breakfast was another highlight — a generous spread of both English and Sri Lankan favorites, all freshly made and full of flavor.
