"Pros: We stayed for 2 nights at guruge villa and was pity to go out as all was very comfortable for longer living. We had a problem with the tyre on a rented car and couldn’t come to check in on time. We came later on 3+ hours and the host was waiting for us till late evening. Thanks a lot for patience. The villa has all amenities and even more. Huge kitchen, plates, glasses, knives and even washing machine. The garden is amazing and spacious. One night I was lucky to observe a miracle - lightning bugs, one was huge like a plum size… couldn’t believe my eyes. The hosts are very friendly, always in contact if you need something. We would like to come back and recommend this place at Hikkaduwa. Cons: One night in 2 bedrooms we heard some noise from the aircon or maybe water pump (might be it’s not often), but in the 3 bedroom we didn’t hear anything at night and slept well. Do not leave your shoes outside. Leather shoes were eaten by the dog :) we don’t mind as we had another one. But just warn other guests to take the shoes inside the house :)" ~Aleksandra

"Pros: We got little late to check in, around 7pm. By the time we got there the owner has turned on the A/C in the room for us to feel comfortable. Everything was superb. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean as it was my main concern. Owner was very helpful and friendly. It is worth going back there. And it’s so close to the main road. Very easy to find the place.
