"Pros: The room was beautiful and very clean, which we really appreciated. The accommodation overall was decent, but the owner seemed quite money-focused, which took away from the experience a bit. We also found the room terrace poorly soundproofed, which was an issue especially because of the frequent loud local religious ceremonies – not ideal for getting a good night’s sleep. One small but annoying detail: they charge for bottled water served with meals, even if you didn’t ask for it – and you only find out when paying the bill. That said, the food was excellent and the hosts were very kind. The view is stunning, and it’s great that meals are served on the terrace. Right behind the house there’s a lovely path through tea plantations, perfect for a peaceful walk. For getting around the area, a scooter is definitely the way to go."
