Wonderful Cave-house In Galdar

"Pros: It was peace and quite Cons: The house did not meet fair exceptions and is a money scam. Do not book it! It was so cold (only 15 degrees) inside, that we could not use the rooms of the house and had to sit with jackets and sweaters on. We contacted the owners who was a lovely couple, and the next day they came with 2 radiators. However' it did not solve the problem as the house fused blew. We booked the house instead of a hotel room to have plenty of space, but we could only stay in one room because of the cold and we had to choose between heating the room OR whether we wanted to cook or take shower, we could not both because of the fuses. The staff was rude when we pointed out that basic expections such as being able to actually use the rooms of the house was not meet. We asked for a refund (we did not get any though) and have suggested booking.com to remove it from their platform. The house may be okay in the summertime, but its not suitable for humans in March! Such a disappointment and money scam" ~Bjørn

"Pros: Stunning views across the beautiful hillside down to the sea and Mount Teide on Tenerife in the distance. And a beautiful patio garden to relax in. Plenty of space for a family of 5 (including 3 large teenagers!). Local villagers were very friendly and welcoming. Javier offered help and suggestions whenever needed. Cons: The shower wall-attachment was as much use as a chocolate teapot... directing all the water out of the shower and flooding the floor. Had to be held by hand to avoid post-shower mopping! Not quite enough heaters for the size of the property in Winter." ~Rebecca

"Pros: The view, terrace and the vibe of the place Cons: When it’s cold outside it’s freezing cold inside and you have to use the gas heater on your own which is hard for amator. The gas in the bottle was empty and it’s impossible for me to change a very heavy bottle by myself." ~Agnieszka
