"Pros: Your host Marco is Dutch, his wife is Swedish and it shows in the style and flair they’ve deployed in this house. It is, indeed, a house on three floors, including a super roof terrace which provides a wonderful view across the edge of town and far into the distance. Wonderful in the evening. It’s very well equipped, the attention to detail is excellent. Comfortable, cosy and very quirky. Lots of easy parking nearby and close to bars, shops and restaurants. The only observation we would make is, as one or two others have commented, if you’re young and fit with good mobility it’s ideal, if, however, like us (my husband is the wrong side of 70 with a problematic knee) it’s perhaps less so. Yes, we would come back but be aware that the walk up to the property from the car park is perhaps 100 to 150 yds or so and quite steep. The house itself has two fairly steep staircases, one to get to the roof terrace. Certainly not dangerous but if you have reduced mobility, it’s perhaps worth considering. Cons: Nothing, even the access issue didn’t put us off." ~Anne

"Pros: Location was very good for shops, bars, swimming pool, castle, church. The house is a traditional Spanish family home set over 3 levels, with the roof terrace being an absolute jewel for sun worshipping.. great amount of space with shade so you can get out of the sun for a while when it’s too much (hot). The house has nice thick walls to help keep the rooms cool during peak heat, as when it’s hot, it’s very hot. Well equipped kitchen, fully functional fridge and freezer for cooling your stuff. Local street parking was always available during our stay. Tania was the hostess from heaven very friendly and helpful. Wifi very strong when inside the house. Cons: The property is listed as being with air conditioning, there is only one air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms. (Twin bedroom upstairs). So it’s not total climate control. The main double bedroom downstairs has no air conditioning and is south facing - However there is a portable fan in the house which did help to circulate the air in this bedroom. We were expecting air conditioning throughout, as stated in the description." ~Graham
