"Pros: we needed a property close to friends and other business we were taking care of and wanted an authentic feel for the area. we got a comfortable little house with exactly what we were looking for. Cons: it is a little tricky getting in and out of the driveway and the house is tucked back in a little side street but once we got used to it it was no bother as we had plenty of parking even when friends visited." ~K.

"Pros: 30mins drive to Benidorm, or Calp (which we preferred) this location was perfect for our family of 14! Altea, 15mins away also has a lovely seafront with plenty of restaurants. 3 estate cars fitted easily into the garage with a automatic door for ease. The villas size, 9 bedrooms, all decent sizes over 4 floors with kitchens on 3 floors gave plenty of food storage for our large familiy The pool is fantastic. Good size and the kids loved it so much, they decided not to go to the beach one day and just enjoyed the pool. Perfect. Brilliant for wheelchair access (a little hill to the front door which needs some effort) but inside, plenty of room with 2 ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor. Some may think it would need an update but we found it very acceptable and authentically charming (is authentically a word?!!!) An outdoor kitchen next to the pool was the central hub for us all. Cons: Not a huge problem to most but some rooms don't have air con. Fans are provided though. The pool area can become slippy. There are signs saying so, but I would suggest extra care needs to be taken" ~Mark

"Pros: The apartment is high quality, clean, comfortable and functional: there is a big fridge, a stove, a toaster, a coffee maker (which can be used as a kettle), a big wasching mashine and a laundry rack. It's all great in case you'd like to stay a few days and cook by yourself, and wash your clothes. No dishwasher, but we could live with that. The main room is airconed, in the other room there is a ceiling-fan. And a spacious, free public parking room was a few minutes walk away. 9 out of 10. Cons: We were in the apartment in the beginning of April and it was already pretty hot in the bedroom. The fan doesn't really do the job very well (it just pushes the air around) so we had to open the window at night to get some air - which also let the noise in. The alternative is to open the bedroom door and let the airconed air from the main room in, but if you have a person staying in the main room (as we did), both sides have no real privacy. The other thing is the noise. The apartment is located right next to a city square which is very busy and noisy. Cars, people shouting, kids shouting and playing, church goers singing, church bells ringing (yep, there is a small church 20 metres from the apartment) - it's all muffled when you close the windows but it is by no means blocked. We had to sleep in earplugs which didn'e even block the noise completely. So if you expect a really quiet place, you need to get a place further from the square." ~Pracownia
