"Pros: The location was great, with lovely views of the forest and scenery. Overall, the place was clean and the fireplace was a great bonus given that it rained most of the time and was cold. The facilities were functional and extras (tea, coffee, condiments) were provided. Our hosts were lovely, and promptly fixed a clog drain when informed. Cons: The property was rated as wheel-chair friendly and I was informed of some stairs, however, there were many stairs which made it unsuitable for a wheelchair or anyone with walking disabilities. This should have been stated upfront. The bathroom was a challenge given the mud/rain and turned out to be quite gross after a couple of days. Offering a cleaning service would have been helpful." ~Cml

"Pros: A little slice of heaven! We were warmly received by Peta. The cottage is clean, well looked after, and thoughtfully set up. From sitting by the window with our morning coffee to listening to the sounds of nature off the deck, we enjoyed every moment. Our hosts respected our privacy the entire stay, which truly did make this feel like a hideout. Cons: That it had to end." ~Cindy
