"Pros: We had an unforgettable experience at Oceana as returning guests, visited already in 09/2023. The combination of luxury, privacy, and nature is superb. The pool suites are beautifully appointed with breathtaking ocean views, and the service is warm and attentive. Attention: Other suites are not as modern and up-to-date. There’s only two pool suites. On booking.com it is shown as „Executive Suite“. Game drives were intimate and personal, there’s only few animals, don’t expect Big 5. It’s more about the feeling and nature, views. Some smaller species around. The beach is pristine and secluded. Totally amazing, 7 km long, 1 km broad - private, ountouched. Unbeatable for walks and enjoying nature! The absolute highlight! Unfortunately we experienced (vs 09/2023) that the type of guests changed. Also family members of staff were staying at this game reserve, which creates vatiety of downsides for foreign guests. We probably won‘t come back, the other guests are an important piece of the experience in staying in such a game reserve- you meet for breakfast, lunch, game drive, dinner. I also had the feeling, that there‘s different pricing schemes & rates for foreigners & locals." ~Mathias
