"Pros: Location excellent for visiting a sick relative at Sandton Mediclinic Hospital 600 m away Cons: Totally unresponsive owner. No reply to message through booking.com or WhatsApp message to confirm visit an late checkin between 20:00h and 21:00. Telephone set to voicemail. I was stranded without accommodation and had to arrange an alternative at 9pm which is precisely what I wanted to avoid. Was contacted the following day by owner saying that he only saw booking so clearly not monitoring bookings. I requested a refund as it is unacceptable to confirm bookings online and then not monitor communication. Owner apologised claiming they are new to booking.com and I requested a refund.
