"Pros: We had a great (unfortunately only 1 night) stay at Adonsonia Lodge. It’s a nice small place surrounded by nature. The dinner and breakfast was exceptional - the meat was mouth watering! We were visited by elephants, which was really surprising and came as a great welcome to Africa on our first night. If I’m ever in the area, I’d definitely choose this lodge again.

"Pros: We loved everything at Ngalali retreat: the rooms are nice and clean and well decorated. The outside terrace with view on the pond is lovely: you can watch the animals from your seat.
The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly. Lorenza and Xander are amazing hosts. We did several game drives with Xander, and he is the most wonderfull guide that you can imagine. He is passionate about the animals and the nature. We stayed 2 nights and wish we would have stayed longer…
Thank you for the wonderfull experience!
Cons: Nothing" ~Veerle
"Pros: The whole experience was magical, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blown away by the efforts made by Danielle in hosting us, from the amazing home cooked food in such a beautiful setting to making sure we had clean rooms, new towels, and made beds to return to every morning. As for the safari, it is difficult to find the words to describe how amazing this was. We really appreciated JP sharing his experiences and knowledge of the animals and his patience in answering our many questions. There is nothing like seeing an elephant with its baby walk right past you or a lion so full after a kill that it can barely move. In the end, we saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impala, rare wild dogs, and many other animals and birds. We already miss our coffee by the river as the sun comes up...it was perfect in every way." ~Lynn
"Pros: Hosts were fantastic and very helpful. Meeting Rhino's at the watering hole before we had even checked into the property was amazing. Property is large enough for a large family gathering and the layout with private rooms was good.
Cons: Internet signal did not extend the whole of the house, but a minor inconvenience considering why we were there - to experience the bush and the Big 5" ~Andrew
