"Pros: Wonderful cabin with beautiful views. Gas stove inside and brilliant gas braai outside so there were good cooking options. We had plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Wonderful open plan lounge and dining area for sitting together. Responsive, helpful host. Cons: It is very clearly stated in the accommodation info that the property is reliant on solar power. We were unlucky to be staying over a cloudy and rainy weekend, so mostly we didn't have electricity - which we expected. However, various things would beep because of intermittent power supply (fridge, geyser set up) and it would be nice if the alarms on these could be switched off." ~Jacqueline

"Pros: We loved the location on the river. It's peaceful and quiet. The deck overlooking the river is a great outdoor space. We braaied and kept the fire going for a beautiful nighttime atmosphere.
