"Pros: We enjoyed this rustic, clean and quiet place with a beautiful view. Vogelzang is situated 5km from the De Mond Nature Reserve where you can experience the mouth of the Heuningnes river with exceptional birdlife. Our host Werner Visser was very friendly and went out of his way to help us. We prepared ourselves for a rustic cottage with no electricity (only gas and lamps) and were surprised by the fact that there was cellphone reception." ~Daniel

"Pros: Closeness to the beach and amenities. Walking distance. Safe parking and alarm systems in place.Was available as properties are hard to come by in Arniston.Friendly and accomodating property agent eg.gave us towels as there was nil in flat etc. Cons: The property needs a good clean and revamping. Cobwebs on windows and furniture in lounge need a make over.Linen need specification as we were supposed to bring our own towels.A dog in the property barked non stop until the neighbour's complained. Flushing the toilet sounded like thunder.Shower needs a drain cover and a good scrub for hygiene purposes.These are criticisms that can be improved and be a stunning home with excellent rating." ~Wilson
