"Pros: Amazing location and view. The current pictures honestly don't do it justice. Take one step outside and you look out over the Mediterranean Sea. You can also use the garden next to the accomodation, which is great to enjoy the view with a drink. The location is a great base to explore Piran, Izola and Koper; and even Croatia and Italy if you want.
I HIGHLY recommend renting an electric (mountain)bike during your stay here. The roads are relatively small and it can get busy with cars easily. There are official bicycle routes throughout the region. I rented my electric mountainbike from E-bike Istria. They dropped off the bike at my stay here for free, with helmet, lock and charger.
The host is super friendly and helpful! He had prepared a small welcoming platter of local food (including bread baked by his mother!). He was easy to reach through WhatsApp after we exchanged numbers.
Cons: *these are nitpicks!*
The shower is decent, but there's no holder for the showerhead above your head which makes showering slightly unwieldy.
Also, the fridge makes a constant low humming sound, but you can easily turn it off by turning the dial to zero when you're about to sleep.
After showering at night, I heard a different low hum that I presume is a fan triggered by a humidity sensor. It shut off after about 45 minutes, so it didn't bother me too much luckily. Neither the fridge or the fan were very loud, but I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to these sounds. Like I said before, neither sound was a big problem for me, but I wanted to share just in case.
If you do not plan to rent an electric bicycle, you should know the road up to this accommodation is quite steep. I personally wouldn't like having to drive my rental car up and down this road. That said, it's properly paved so it's not horrible."
